The proper way is to Pull the saw out, lower it down, then push it away from you for a sliding miter saw.

I just wanted to see what everyone uses for their raised panel door processes. I currently just have a router table and have been looking for an upgrade that will provide a little more safety as well as save set up time. I was looking into the Hawk Panel Master before they closed down. Thanks for your input.
